Kevin Rutto

Kevin Rutto is a dedicated, detailed, and passionate community organizer based in Elgeyo/Marakwet County, Kenya. He is the Co-Founder of Community Outreach for Action and Development (COAD KENYA) and Programs Officer at Marakwet Girls Foundation.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science (Pure Mathematics) degree from Kenyatta University, and is currently pursuing a Master in Business Administration (Strategic Management) at the same institution.

A strong proponent of grassroots organizing and collaboration, Kevin’s greatest passion is working with young people to ensure that Elgeyo/Marakwet County is a benchmark for climate action and a society free from FGM & GBV.

With an experience of over 5 years, He has led a number of initiatives including Community sensitization programs organized by World Vision, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), REDPlus Kenya among other partners.
