Maxine Jepkorir
Maxine Jepkorir was born on 12th February, 1995 in Kapsabet Town, Nandi County. She went to Neema Integrated Primary school from 2006-2008 then proceeded to Itigo Girls Secondary School in Nandi County between 2009-2012. She qualified to join University and, from 2014–2018, went to Maasai Mara University to pursue a Bachelor of Arts and Social Sciences in Political Science and Public Administration, and attained a Second Class Upper Division.
Maxine has experience in research data collection, data summarizing and extraction, data entry, and creation of reports with an ability to organize and lead projects efficiently. She also shows strong proficiency in handling both basic and advanced computer software.
Maxine worked on a contract basis at the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics for two years as a research assistant and as an enumerator. Through the research period, she headed her team and achieved their targeted goals. In her degree project, she researched ways of empowering youth in the County, illustrating several ways Positive Youth Development programs could promote the positive development of youth.
Maxine has an interest in working with utu International given its objective for sustainable growth for youth and its added aim of improving and impacting their lives.
